Fuel Under Fire
This morning, I front-loaded with three hardboiled eggs and a protein shake. Not for a workout— but for a gauntlet: three straight hours of meetings, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. No breaks. No exits.
Just full bandwidth.
Didn’t eat again until after. And when I did, I wasn’t ravenous—I was spent.
Workout Swapped for a Walk
Leg day got scrapped. But I didn’t.
Instead, I laced up and walked 45 minutes under the sun—fasted, focused, forward.
The win wasn’t just the movement—it was the decision not to break the chain.
The Wall
After the walk, I reached for another protein shake—thinking it would carry me to dinner. It didn’t.
Within the hour: dizziness, low blood sugar fog, a wave of depletion.
My body needed carbs. Fast.
So I made a call: Six-egg omelet (two yolks), multigrain toast, butter, and organic jam.
It wasn’t a craving—it was a course correction.
And it kept me on track.
I stayed within my deficit. More importantly, I didn’t bail.
I listened. I adjusted. That’s the work.
Sleep Audit
Six hours isn’t enough. I knew it, and my body reminded me all day.
Target: 7.5 to 8. Locked in.
Because sleep isn’t recovery—it’s reinforcement.
Meditation helped.
Not just to calm my nerves—but to reclaim the frame.
This isn’t just physical. It’s neurological.
Stacking Wins
Four days. Four straight decisions to stay aligned.
No missed workouts. No off-plan binges. Just one small pivot when the system flagged.
Was the butter and jam ideal? No.
Was it intentional? Yes.
And that’s the point:
This isn’t about eating clean. It’s about leading yourself—through noise, through fatigue, through feedback your body whispers before it shouts.
Anticipating Tomorrow
Will I weigh 203 lbs tomorrow?
Maybe. Maybe not.
But I’m not outsourcing my momentum to the scale.
I’m not here for validation.
I’m here for transformation.
And the mirror already knows the difference.
